The Compassionate Care Ministry, is an outreach ministry for seniors providing friendship, fellowship and encouragement through home visits, community events, prayer and personal assistance (to the extent that we are able to in our capacity as a church).
We encourage worship and Bible reading and participation in community events we believe are healthy and support beneficial lifestyles.
We want to maintain positive contacts with seniors in facilities and hopefully assist in supporting family connections.
We intend to extend this outreach across our city, as we feel led to do so by the Lord. We, by no means, want to duplicate any service already in place or in any way solicit fundraising at our senior events. All of our efforts are voluntary and seek to promote the very best interests of those who allow us to serve them.
Ultimately, Bethany Covenant Alive Ministries, wants to assist, enable and support seniors to live meaningful lives in the best ways possible, for as long as possible. In the process, we will all benefit because true ministry changes the hearts of all involved, especially those who serve.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as
faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Peter 4:10-11

Very successful event. Many deep and meaningful connections. Much prayer went out. Several of the ladies took food up for the men who didn’t attend – and they were blessed and sent their thanks… The Lord was blessed as He blessed them and us…
